Talladega Superspeedway Talladega Superspeedway holds some of the best and most competitive racing in NASCAR. It also showcases some of the world's best stock car racing and offers a number of “Driving Experiences,” where visitors can go behind the wheel of a race car or ride along at speeds of more than 150 mph.

Cheaha State Park Located in Talladega's beautiful National Forest, this foothill of the Appalachian Mountains is the highest point in Alabama. Cheaha has hiking trails and camp sites for all experience levels, and offers a mountain-top restaurant and gift shop.

Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind AIDB has long been a leader in education and rehabilitation services for Alabama’s sensory-impaired children and adults since its founding in the mid 1800’s. With five campuses in Talladega, it is recognized as the nation’s most comprehensive program of its kind. AIDB offers a variety of tours, including a tour of Alabama Industries for the Blind, the second largest employer of the blind in the United States.

Blue Bell Creamery The creamery, located about 20 miles away in Sylacauga, Ala., has a country store and offers group tours, complete with a scoop of the nation's best ice cream!

DeSoto Caverns Park DeSoto Caverns Park is a natural wonder and a perfect setting for family fun. Along with tours of the caverns, visitors enjoy an impresssive light show, a butterfly house and more than 20 other exciting attractions.

International Motorsports Hall of Fame Located next to the Talladega Superspeedway, the International Hall of Fame is completely surrounded with the “best of the best” in motorsports. The Motorsports Museum is a highlighted feature and includes a self-paced walking tour.

Talladega College Talladega College, located in a historic district, is Alabama’s oldest historically black, private liberal arts college and is home to the Amistad Murals. The murals, consisting of three panels (The Revolt, the Court Scene and Back to Africa), are known as one of artist Hape Aspacio Woodruff’s best works and attract visitors and art enthusiasts from around the world.

The Historic Ritz Theater Talladega’s Ritz Theater on the town square is considered one of the best surviving examples of the Art Deco mainstreet theatres of the 1930s. The Ritz reopened Feb. 16, 1998, as the premiere performing arts center of East Central Alabama. It hosts quality events throughout the year.
